Dr. Kristian Holth
Clinical Neuropsychologist

As an endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist, Kristian has experience in neuropsychological assessment across public and private practice, in children and adults. His current work primarily involves diagnosis, cognitive characterisation and capacity assessments (including decision-making and parenting capacity). He also has extensive experience in the diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders including ASD and ADHD.
In his therapy work, Kristian is passionate about empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges and to ultimately live a meaningful life. He has experience working with neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals across the adult lifespan, and enjoys helping clients with a range of issues. Kristian also has particular experience in the psychological treatment of Functional Neurological Disorders. He draws from a range of evidence-based approaches in his therapy work as suited to the client.
Kristian’s doctoral research investigated the ability of music to evoke autobiographical memories, and the socio-relational emotion kama muta. He continues to research perceptual and emotional responses to music, and is an adjunct research associate in the School of Translational Medicine at Monash University.
Outside his clinical work, Kristian is a keen musician and has played piano since early childhood. He holds a bachelor of composition and continues to write and record his own music.
