Psychologist

Christie is a neurodivergent psychologist committed to helping people better understand and embrace their authentic selves. Her experience working with addiction, trauma, and eating disorders has given her a deep understanding of how relational patterns and coping strategies become intertwined, often leading to cycles of feeling stuck and disconnected.
Christie brings an attachment-based and psychodynamic focus to her work, with skills in various approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She works with individuals of all ages and has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults during periods of identity development and transition.
Christie believes that meaningful therapeutic work begins with feeling genuinely heard and safe. Her style is warm, collaborative, and thoughtful, and with a neuroaffirming approach, she values the importance of adapting therapy to each person’s unique cognitive and emotional style.
