Bryan Peck

Registered Psychologist

Bryan Peck Profile Pic.jpeg

Bryan is a registered psychologist with around 15 years involvement in the mental health field, and approximately 4.5 years providing psychological therapy. He has worked across education and community contexts supporting children, young people, families, and adults, with the past three years spent as a school-based psychologist within Education Queensland providing psychological intervention to children and parents, consultation, and risk support within complex family and school systems. Alongside this, Bryan has background in counselling, behaviour support, and mental health research and education, bringing a practical understanding of how distress shows up in everyday life, relationships, and patterns of coping.

Bryan’s approach is formulation-led, relational, and depth-oriented. He aims to understand symptoms as meaningful, self-protective patterns shaped by context, history, and relationship, rather than treating distress as something to simply eliminate. His work is paced and grounded, with close attention to psychological safety, nervous system responses, and the therapeutic alliance. He supports clients to make sense of repeating patterns, reduce shame and self-criticism, strengthen self-understanding, and move toward values-based, sustainable change.

Bryan has experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, shame and self-criticism, relationship strain, and longstanding patterns that keep repeating despite efforts to “push through”. As a father and husband, he also understands the real-world pressures that shape wellbeing, and he aims to offer a steady, genuine therapeutic space where clients feel deeply heard and supported while doing work that reaches beyond symptom management and into the roots of change.
