Karen Marcucci
Clinical
Psychologist

Karen is a Clinical Psychologist committed to supporting people through life’s challenges with warmth and compassionate care. She brings experience across private practice, public health, schools and community settings, and primarily works with adults and adolescents.
Karen works with individuals experiencing anxiety and mood concerns, trauma, chronic pain, stress and burnout, adjustment difficulties, relationship concerns and major life changes. She also has a strong interest in health psychology and supporting people with the emotional and psychological impact of physical health challenges.
Karen tailors therapy to each individual, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as mindfulness-based strategies. Her practice is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming.
Karen believes therapy is a collaborative process that can help people better understand themselves and their experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and feel more confident in navigating life's challenges. Taking a holistic approach, she considers the emotional, physical, social and lifestyle factors that can influence wellbeing, while helping clients work towards meaningful change.
