Elnaz is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over 16 years of experience across Iran and Australia. She works with adults and older adolescents. Her background includes individual and group psychotherapy, and telehealth.

She works with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, adjustment difficulties, and personality- related concerns, with a particular interest in longstanding emotional and relationship patterns. She also supports people navigating migration, cultural adjustment, questions of identity, and major life changes.

Her approach combines Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspectives, particularly relational, object relations, and attachment theories. She offers practical support for current difficulties while exploring how earlier experiences and relationships may shape a person’s feelings, sense of self, and relationships today.

Elnaz sees therapy as a shared process, grounded in trust, respect, and room to speak openly. She works with clients to agree on goals and a pace that suits their needs and readiness. She values both understanding and lived experience as part of change, helping clients find different ways of responding to emotions and relating to themselves and others, with attention to their cultural background and life circumstances.
