About
Mastering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy by the Harvest Clinic is a practical training course designed to support new, early-career, and returning psychologists in building confidence and competence in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Structured across ten comprehensive modules, the program takes participants through the complete CBT process, from understanding the role of the psychologist and developing accurate case formulations, to applying cognitive and behavioural interventions, managing physical symptoms, delivering effective therapy sessions, and integrating learning into everyday clinical practice. Rather than focusing solely on theory, the course emphasises practical application. It aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world therapeutic work by exploring common clinical challenges, evidence-based CBT strategies, and practical considerations encountered in everyday practice. Participants may complete the entire program or select individual modules based on their professional learning needs. The course content has been prepared by Nick Webb, Psychologist at The Harvest Clinic, with selected material informed by previous educational content developed by Ric Elysee-Collen. The training draws on established Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles, clinical experience, and practical insights to support psychologists in delivering effective, evidence-based care.
