Online Holistic Health & Wellness Program
What is THRIVE?
THRIVE is a holistic health program designed improve your mental and physical health & wellbeing.

Invest in your health this year and work with our holistic team including a General Practitioner (GP), Nutritionist & Naturopath, Clinical Psychologist and Personal trainer.

The THRIVE program is simple - we want to help you make achievable and maintainable positive changes to your mental & physical health and wellbeing.
The Science of
body & mind
Mental and physical health are inherently intertwined. Changes in the body can often influence the mind in profound ways. Consequently, when our physical health has declined, research suggests that it can have a significant impact on how we think and feel. Physical health factors such as nutritional deficiencies, poor diet and a lack of exercise can all play a role in mental health issues.
Similarly, when we become stuck in unhelpful thinking styles, when we struggle with difficult emotions like resentment, depression or anxiety, or when we are pulled into behaviours that are unlike the person we want to be, our physical health is also significantly impacted.

Therefore, getting to the root cause by focusing on both mental and physical health is crucial to improve our overall well-being.
3 Core
Pillars of THRIVE
The Thrive Program includes regular psychology sessions targeted at improving psychological flexibility and mental resilience.

Whether you are currently experiencing many or little mental health difficulties, your treating psychologist will help you identify the unhelpful thought patterns, difficult emotions or habits that may be hijacking you away from what matters most. They will provide you with practical and evidence-based tools to help you unhook from these, find direction, and build willingness and motivation to move closer to your core values.
You will work directly with our qualified Naturopath & Nutritionist under the guidance and support of our Integrative GP to investigate the nutritional and biochemical barriers that stand the way to great health.

Your practitioners will build you a personalized nutrition program based on your needs and will educate and coach you on implementing this successfully.
Exercise has been proven to improve physical and mental health. In this program, your trainer will provide you with a tailored exercise program and will coach you through its implementation.

We utilize an online program which you will have access to which makes it easy for both seasoned trainers, and beginners to get something out of this component . In this program, exercise is not just about temporary weight-loss or getting the 'perfect body', Our focus is on helping to make movement and physical development a regular and maintainable part of your life.

Andrea continues to incorporate healing modalities, such as mindfulness, homeopathy, acupuncture and nutrition into her practice which creates opportunities for patients to feel empowered to play an active role in their own health and wellbeing.

GRIEF, TRAUMA AND PTSD
Experiencing anxiety or distress in relation to traumatic life experiences. This may include frequent thoughts (sometimes intrusive or unwanted) about the trauma, fears of the event recurring, or avoiding of certain situations that were previously part of normal life.

BURNOUT AND STRESS
Experiencing ongoing or chronic stress which may be coupled with symptoms of depression and anxiety. A sense of being overwhelmed with one or multiple areas of life sometimes associated with uncertainty, avoidance and difficulties in decision making.

UNFULFILLMENT AND LOSS OF DIRECTION
Experiencing a sense of being stuck in ‘doing life’ rather than truly living. Feeling as though you are existing or surviving your life rather than thriving through life; feeling detached from a sense of meaning and purpose.
UNCERTAINTY AND GOAL CLARIFICATION
Reaching an important point or crossroads in your life that requires clarity and discernment to move forward effectively. Whether it be in relation to career, relationships, health or other domains of life, attaining clarity on your values and goals is critical to choosing your actions through major transitions in life.

POOR SLEEP, LOW ENERGY & FATIGUE
Feeling tired, lethargic, or having difficulty getting or staying asleep are all common problems with a range of possible causes. Psychologically speaking, automatic habits such as worrying, ruminating, and having a mind that just doesn't switch off can contribute to this, as can hormone imbalances as well as nutrient deficits such as low iron, vitamin D or B12.

LOW LIBIDO
.Diminished or a lack of interest in sex or sexual desire compared to your usual or desired levels. This may be due to a range of factors such as relationship issues, hormone imbalances, factors affecting energy or stress levels as well as anxiety.

POOR CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS AND STRENGTH
Cardiovascular fitness relates to how efficiently your heart, lungs, and organs can consume and transport oxygen required for movement and exercise. Extended periods of inactivity can lead to a less efficient cardiovascular system resulting in feeling out of breath quickly or easily tired. Similarly you may notice that when lifting things or even walking/moving, your muscle strength or endurance depletes easily resulting in injury, soreness, or fatigue.
What past THRIVERS are saying...
Before I participated in the Thrive program I was constantly exhausted and burnt out. I was struggling to focus and complete day to day tasks and had been neglecting my over all health for that last 3 years. I had lost sight of what I valued.
I had never done anything like the Thrive program before. Having the opportunity to focus on my health in a truly holistic way has been so life changing . I have learnt so much about how nutrition choices affect my hormones which in turns impacts my thought processes and my ability to be motivated to exercise and make changes my day to day it was just such an amazing experience.
The convenience of doing it from home was an added bonus. The care and coaching I experienced helped me to release traumas that I had been operating from for years.
I highly recommend taking the journey, it was a truly nourishing experience.

I don't have any mental health issues is this for me?Absolutely, in this program we consider that mental wellbeing isn't just the absence of suffering, but a process of continuing towards defining and living out the things that matter most to us...and putting ourselves in the best physical condition to get there. You will be able to take various tests and analyses to check your current health overall and look at what the next step for you is to improve your mental and physical health overall.

We do have an Integrative GP on our team who can advise on your program and work with our Naturopath & Nutritionist wherever needed. We encourage you to raise any concerns or reservations you may have as we want to help you feel at ease about improving your health and doing this in a safe and sensible way.
-
I was thinking of doing a health retreat, will this be the same? Most of the practitioners in this program have worked extensively at health retreats in Australia and across the world. Health retreats are a great way to kickstart your health, yet our experience has been that many people slide slowly back to old habits of poor health after returning home. Our hope here is to create gradual and enduring positive changes to your health that continues even after the program finishes. This program will include the key elements of education, personalized program development, and implementation that you will find at a health retreat, however the swimming pool, pre-cooked and catered meals and steam baths aren't here. You'll get access to the core pillars that will make a critical difference to your health, but it's not a holiday or a relaxing retreat, this is an intentional investment towards improving your wellbeing.
-
Who is the THRIVE Program for?The THRIVE program was developed to help anyone who has an interest in improving their overall wellbeing and health. In our view health isn't something achieved but it is something that is invested in and maintained regularly. So whether you find yourself in great, good, moderate, or poor health physically or mentally, we have built this program to help you take the next step towards improving your health and wellbeing across the 3 core pillars.
-
How long are your waitlists? At the moment we have no waitlists for most of our team and can book you in within 2 business days. Some of our more experienced clinicians may have short wait lists. Please contact us to inquire more and we can let you know.
-
Can I choose just the parts of the program I want to do?While the program was designed to focus on all 3 areas of health, you can certainly book in individual consultations with the Naturopath, Personal Trainer or Psychologist. This would allow you to still have a relevant program created to follow and you can arrange follow up sessions as required also. The best way to do this would be to contact our admin team by emailing hello@harvestclinic.com.au and they can arrange this with you privately.
-
Are there any additional costs?Your Integrative GP and Naturopath may recommend additional supplements or pathology tests that may incur a fee. These recommendations are not compulsory and we encourage you to discuss alternative options with your practitioner if it is not viable for you to proceed with their suggestions. The costs paid for your program provide you with the outlined number of sessions with each practitioner along with the program(s) created by them for you to follow, however costs for materials and resources such as groceries and other ingredients, exercise equipment etc. are not included in the package fees.
-
