Bio

Anastasiia is a Clinical Psychologist who provides individual assessment and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults in a private practice on the Gold Coast. Anastasiia provides inpatient psychology service and facilitates Day Therapy group programs for people with Anxiety, Mood Disorders and Substance Use Disorders at The Southport Private Hospital.

 

Anastasiia’s training has involved a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) as well as Systemic & Psychodynamic approaches. She has completed 3-year training in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP) with Dr Patricia Coughlin in Boston, USA. This evidence-based therapy is designed to address unconscious emotional conflicts at the core of psychological and interpersonal problems, resulting in deep and long-term character change.

It is suitable for resolution of adult trauma and complex mental health difficulties, as well as chronic pain and physical health problems that are worsened by emotional stress. Anastasiia is very dedicated and continues her training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) with Dr Allan Abbass (Canada) and Patricia Coughlin (USA).

 

Anastasiia advocates wellness programs and individual psychotherapy for medical, allied health professionals and students, so they can reach their highest potential. She provides individual and group supervision to provisional psychologists and mental health professionals.
